The Project Manager – Beverage Distribution & Warehousing is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects related to the distribution of beverages. This includes working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes, improve existing systems, and manage the flow of products from the warehouse to the customer. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the beverage distribution industry, as well as SAP Workstream experience and strong project management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans for new and existing projects
  • Manage project budgets and timelines
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Identify and manage project risks
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement new processes and systems to improve the efficiency of the beverage distribution operation
  • Manage the flow of products from the warehouse to the customer
  • Ensure that all products are shipped in a timely and accurate manner
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

Summary: 

The Vice President, IT Program Management, in collaboration with the IT management team, directs, oversees, and maintains the IT PMO.  This position is responsible for delivering the company's IT PMO and strategic roadmaps.  This individual establishes and maintains the strategic alignment between the IT PMO and the company Leadership.  This role is responsible for managing the IT PMO lead a team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, Contractors, and Vendors while managing projects contracts and associated budgets.  The Vice President of IT Program Management collaborates with IT Leadership, the company Leadership, and the organization to manage and communicate the delivery of technology and business systems to support the strategic and business initiatives and technology roadmap.
This individual will work closely with the IT Leadership team and decision-makers in other departments to manage and deliver cost-effective technology and business system projects for all aspects of the organization. This role requires flexibility and collaboration across technology teams and global business units, excellent communication skills, the ability to work with diplomacy, and a positive attitude.
This position reports to the CIO.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain program initiatives that align with the company TMO and Transformation Roadmap.
  • Ensure all the company TMO and PMO workstreams include appropriate allocations and resources for technology and budget.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Ensure all project plans, updates, and communication tools are maintained and delivered timely.
  • Define and gain acceptance from the company and IT Leadership of an overall IT demand management process.
  • Identify critical functional leaders across the company to participate in the required technology implementations to support their organizations and goals.
  • As IT PMO processes are continually defined, responsible for ensuring businesses understand the value of processes, comply, and support them.
  • Track and report on actual business value delivered versus expected/approved for in-process and completed IT projects.
  • Ensure appropriate change control process is in place for approved projects, proactively addressing scope, resources, timeline, budget, and business value changes.
  • Overall responsibility for internal and third-party Project Manager(s) performance
  • Develop and maintain the company's IT PMO communication platform, tools, and process
  • Collaborate with the company's Procurement Team to ensure compliance with the purchasing process.
  • Negotiate contracts, SOWs, reduce vendor-related risk, and ensure service delivery by creating standards for vendors.
  • Continually review project performance to control costs and maintain plan and budget.
  • Work with IT Leadership to select and manage vendors for on-time and within-budget project delivery.

Requirements:

Successful candidate will have the following:

  • Private equity experience in a PE fund, in-house with a PE-backed firm, or consulting projects with PE clients.
  • Experience working within portfolio operations at a private equity or investment firm is advantageous.
  • Prior experience leading program management office responsible for a minimum of $5M of overall investment and 90 concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies with the capability to leverage Agile and Waterfall techniques where appropriate.
  • Proven capability of implementing program management tools, processes, and reporting that drive project success.
  • Previous experience as a senior project manager responsible for developing the business case and then successfully executing a large technology/business systems transformation.
  • Experienced in developing and leading IT demand management models for organizations similar in size and industry to the company where the PMO is responsible for helping the business prioritize IT investments and execute successfully.
  • Previous experience in vendor management focusing on the selection and performance management of technology implementation firms and advisory services.
  • Demonstrated bias towards project success rather than focusing on and reporting of, possible risks and reasons for failure.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and act on critical value levers, escalating when appropriate.
  • Professional appearance and behavior are required, including but not limited to punctuality, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multiple roles on numerous multi-faceted projects while managing staff and meeting deliverables.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, possessing strong judgment with excellent decision-making skills and excellent analytical/organization/time management skills.
  • Experience and ability to effectively manage people and vendors/suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively present to target audience, including senior management, should be as comfortable with people as with systems and technology.
  • Demonstrate skills in diplomacy/negotiation.
  • High level of accountability and can instill a sense of credibility when speaking with stakeholders.
  • Understand the role of business units and how they fit into the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management.
  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in consulting and in-house transformations.
  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Experience with Aviation ERP systems:  Quantum by Component Control and AvSight by InScale.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

This role will start with the evaluation of Aviation SAAS product providers to implement new systems.  After the evaluation and selection, the role will continue into project implementation, initiation, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling as well as project closure; this includes the development & testing of processes and procedures, documentation, training of both support staff and users, and updating and maintaining the system where applicable until it is transitioned to support.

The Implementation Specialist will provide technical expertise, problem resolution, and project management for business-critical issues, system enhancements, and hardware and application upgrades to facilitate business needs and requirements.

The Implementation Specialist will apply his/her understanding of computer software and hardware to diagnose problems, determine the appropriate course of action to ensure successful project completion, and escalate as needed. Responsibilities:

  • Support a robust Microsoft-based network.
