SherlockTech is pleased to announce our support and sponsorship for the 9th annual South Florida .NET CodeCamp. Code Camp is a FREE one day GEEK FEST held on Saturday February 9, 2013 at Nova University – Carl DeSantis Building. The event will have speakers from the local community and beyond. Speakers will be presenting some of the most requested topics like Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, ASP.NET, Javascript, JQuery, Visual Studio 2012, MVC Framework, Sharepoint 2013 and SQL Server 2012. This event is like Tech-Ed for Free but it’s community driven by a group of dedicated volunteers and speakers. Breakfast and lunch is included!

Last week Wednesday, 12/12/12, I had the good fortunate of attending one of the best techie events in South Florida, ITPalooza. It was held at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. The organizers of this event should be proud of themselves. I was impressed with the advertising of the event, the easy registration process, and the signage that guided me to the parking and to the main event building. 100% Federal Training Grants for Unemployed and Dislocated Workers Staff reporter |
SherlockTech Staffing, in association with PC Professor, is pleased to offer access to this exciting grant program. The Unemployed and Dislocated Worker Program is a federally-funded job-growth initiative of the US Department of Labor. The funding grant will cover 100% of each participant’s tuition, fees, books and national certification exams. Complimentary refresher courses, practice time, phone support and supplemental job placement assistance are also included. Depending on the course of study, software and tools may be included as well. Instructor-led classes begin weekly and meet on a daytime, evening or weekend basis.
