We’re looking for a Quantum ERP Programmer Analyst with a robust background in the Quantum ERP system by Component Control. With at least a decade of direct, hands-on experience, this role is pivotal in delivering advanced technical support and ensuring our ERP system runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Duties:

  • Act as the go-to expert for all things related to the Quantum ERP system.
  • Deliver top-tier support to users, swiftly handling inquiries and resolving intricate technical issues.
  • Engage with diverse teams to integrate Quantum effectively across our business processes.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges in Quantum ERP, offering solutions for both software and hardware issues.
  • Liaise with software developers to address and rectify system bugs or shortcomings.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with internal teams and Quantum users.
  • Communicate seamlessly across technical skill levels, ensuring an excellent user support experience.
  • Conduct and oversee user training on Quantum, creating useful documentation and guides.
  • Propose system enhancements to the Quantum ERP, informed by user feedback and industry standards.
  • Keep abreast of Quantum updates, assessing their impacts, and managing system upgrades.
  • Develop and manage detailed support documentation for Quantum ERP, including troubleshooting guides and FAQs.
  • Enhance the support team’s capabilities by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Professional Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, coupled with three years of software development experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in software support with a focus on Quantum ERP by Component Control.
  • Desirable certifications in Quantum ERP or related areas.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL databases is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Deep understanding of Quantum ERP’s architecture, modules, and integration.
  • Skilled in SQL and database management.
  • Knowledge of server environments, network architecture, and security protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Additional Skills:

  • Capable of comprehending and writing technical documentation, reports, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in basic math and statistical analysis.
  • Competent in interpreting and executing instructions in various forms.
  • Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.

Physical Demands:

  • Occasional requirement for mobility tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Regular need to sit and perform desk-based computer tasks.
