The Academy of Information Technology (AOIT) Advisory Board has invited over 500 AOIT students to participate in the 6th Annual Student/Industry Conference at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. This past event, Bridge to the Future Through Technology & Engineering, took place May 4th, 2011 at Miami-Dade College at Wolfson Campus and was a huge success.
SF "The Kon Tiki" project wins NASA Prize
The 2012 NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Contest $5000 Grand Prize is awarded to six teens at Cypress Bay High School in Florida for the space settlement project “The Kon Tiki." The team of 6 beat out 473 other entries to win the $5,000 prize. The team will present their project at the National Space Society 30th Annual International Space Development Conference in Washington DC May 24-28, 2012. more
