🤖 CIO Roundtable Success: Exploring new dimensions of Reality with Spatial Computing

The Spatial Computing (AR/VR/XR/Metaverse) event, co-hosted by The CIO Council of South Florida and SIM South Florida, was an unequivocal success. This exclusive gathering welcomed CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and IT Directors, providing a unique platform for understanding the future of technology.

The highlight was Rob Petrosino, Head of Emerging Tech at PeakActivity, who led a fascinating discourse on Spatial Computing 101. His expertise painted a vivid picture of the present and the future, where emerging technologies like AR, VR, digital twins, and machine learning would revolutionize sectors like healthcare, education, and entertainment.

The event also provided an extraordinary opportunity for networking and thought leadership, connecting industry leaders and allowing them to share insights and experiences.

The CIO Council stayed true to its vision and mission, inspiring technology executives and nurturing future IT leaders. The event served as a critical platform for foresight and learning, helping leaders prepare for the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

In conclusion, the event was a testament to the growing interest in spatial computing and AI. It showcased the immense potential of these technologies. We eagerly anticipate future gatherings, continuing to explore the frontiers of technology together.

Tues, Feb 25, 2023, there will be a Tech Startup Pitch Event with Networking at The Eglavator, Tech Incubator in Boca Raton.

Eglavator, 791 Park of Commerce Blvd., #300, Boca Raton, FL.

Who is it for? Tech Startups, Investors, Interested Parties, and Members of the Tech Community.

What Is This Event?

This is a pitch event as well as a networking event. Networking will start at 6 pm, and the pitch event will start at 7 pm. If you would like to pitch, please contact Dan Gudema at dgudema@gmail.com. A pitch deck is required. This is a first come, first serve, and we are especially looking for new companies that would like to pitch at The Eglavator. We will have a panel of experts/investors that will ask a few questions at the end of each pitch. We are limiting the pitches to no more than 7.

In February 2023 we broke a couple of records with our last pitch event. While we only had about 60 attendees, we had 4/5 companies pitch that has already raised $300k+ from investors. Some had raised $675k. This is a major difference from pitch companies that have pitched at our events in the past. We also had more accredited investors that pitched companies. Once again a different new world order in South Florida (Miami) and tech startups after the pandemic. South Florida is not Silicon Valley, but it is at least on the map.

We are expecting between 50 and 100 people. Sponsorship opportunities (a booth or the event) are below:

Cost: Free

This pitch event will be free for attendees.

However, it does take our time, energy, and some dough to buy some light food and drinks. If you are so inclined, you can tip us, whatever you feel like tipping. The place to tip is right here on this link: https://www.seoturbobooster.com/payments/. Click on One-Time Payment and enter how much you want to pay. Something like $10 or $25 would suffice, but once again not required.

What kinds of tech will be pitched?

We typically only allow tech startups to pitch, which can cover hardware, software, bio, and other tech-related ventures.

t is invited?

Investors, technology community members, investors, financially interested partners, tech startup partners, members of South Florida Tech Hub, and anybody interested in learning about new technology.

Will there be investors there?

There is no guarantee there will be investors. However, we can guarantee there will be at least 2 investors because they are helping run the event. How many overall, who knows?

What’s Included?

This event will be a free event with networking and light hors d’oeuvres (or pizza).

For more information please contact the Eglavator on this page: https://eglavator.com/join-eglavator-tech-incubator/
