Come join the discussion on how Windows Azure was used to build a multi-tenant, mobile private social network for nonprofits, increasing their member involvement and donations. Chat about the three approaches to building mobile apps, and how Windows Azure is used as the back-end for native apps running on Android, iOS and Windows Phone, and learn how credit card processing was enabled while maintaining PCI compliance.

Speakers:

Jason Milgram, the founder of Linxter, creators of allAware, the free mobile app for nonprofits. He has been working with computers ever since he bought his first Timex/Sinclair 1000 in 6th grade and taught himself BASIC programming. Since then, Jason has worked as a technical consultant in system architecture and management positions for clients such as IBM, the U.S. Department of Justice, Florida Power and Light, Chase Manhattan Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kodak and Iris Associates (creator of Lotus Notes). He was also a sergeant in the US Army Reserve, serving from 1990 to 1998. Jason was educated at the University of Cincinnati (BA Political Science, 1993) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management (Executive Certificate, Management and Leadership, 2008).
