• If you’ve ever built a Web Service, you know how cumbersome it can be to worry about all the “nitty-gritty” details. Well, why worry about about authentication, filtering, validation, error handling, content negotiation, HTTP negotiation, and versioning when you don’t have to! Apigility handles it all, so you can concentrate on writing code specific to your application. In this talk, Diana Espino will show how remarkably easy it is to put together a robust API with Apigility including error handling, content negotiation for versioning and HAL-formatted output.

  Diana Espino is a Senior PHP Developer at Revelex Corporation, an industry leader in travel technology. She has 15 years experience developing for the Web and 7 years experience working with PHP. Her area of focus is on API-centric application development. Outside of work, Diana co-organizes SoFloPHP, teaches Computer Science to kids, and mentors a handful of men & women on becoming developers. During her spare time, she works on turning appliances in her home (and garage) into API powered devices. Academically, Diana holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
