Error handling is a basic task that we as developers do daily. But how many of us are doing it correctly? Darius Liktorius is back to give an in-depth presentation of what is seemingly a simple topic: the Try-Catch block. This fascinating talk will give both beginner and seasoned developers a interesting look a proper error handling techniques. We’ll also get a report from the team of dotNet Miami developers that participated in the Windows 8 Hackathon. They share their experience, code and tips on Windows 8 development. They’ll also show the Nancy web service and RavenDB database that they built. This will be a great night of basics and a glimpse of the future of Windows development.

We will also be giving away more books, swag, and another one-month subscription to PluralSight.
