Fourteen local leaders are going head to head for the titles of Fort Lauderdale Man of the Year and Woman of the Year.
The contest culminates a 10-week fundraising campaign with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Southern Florida Chapter. The winners will be announced during the Grand Finale taking place June 2 at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach, 3030 Holiday Drive. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
The winners will be determined by who raises the most funds for the organization.
Candidates are a select group of honored individuals that are nominated by their peers. They are dynamic, passionate, sometimes competitive, and from both social and business communities. This year’s candidates are Chuck Alfieri, Gene A. Berman, Justin Crane, Lenny Chesal, Kimberly Ibarra, Torrey Jones, Scott Joseph, Kim Lefebvre, Ronny Nadiv, Stacy Pauline, Erica Powers, Caroline Reyes, Vicki Schuerger and Alexander Zachariah [Read more].
