Our Miami based client is looking for a SQL Server Production DBA

Must-Have:

  • Excellent technical judgment based on at least 5 years of continuous and intensive hands-on DBA experience with SQL Server 2008 thru 2012
  • Extensive working knowledge of operational/production DB support tasks including backup/recovery, user rights provisioning, index re-orgs, process monitoring, etc
  • Expertise troubleshooting performance issues at the server, DB, and SQL/query level
  • Strong personal initiative and advanced problem analysis skills.
  • Positive customer service skills complimented by an elevated sense of accountability and urgency.
  • Structured work philosophy founded on strict adherence to corporate direction and change management policy as well as a genuine appreciation for data security.
  • 100% compliance with US laws and regulations governing data privacy.
  • Working knowledge of Red Gate and Idera tools (back-up, compare)
  • Expertise building and administering SQL Server clusters.
  • Well versed with SQL Server transactional replication
  • Familiarity with Oracle and SSIS is a major plus.

This is a permanent full-time position with all work to be done onsite.

Google’s Material Design philosophy is arguably the hottest thing to happen in the world of user experience (UX) in the past decade. With Material Design, Google developed a visual language to convey user intuition of technology across devices of all shapes and sizes. In this session we will cover the basics of Material Design and implement it with the Materialize CSS framework.

Little to no prior HTML experience is required. 

You’ll experience detailed learning through fast-paced, step-by-step instruction, examples, hands-on access to your own folder on a server to play around while you learn.

This training course will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
