The South Florida ISSA Hack the Flag & Chili Cook-off returns September 18–19, 2026, at BRIC in Boca Raton, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, developers, students, and technology leaders for two days of education, networking, and hands-on security challenges.

The event focuses on offensive security techniques and the principle that effective defense begins with understanding how attackers operate. Day One features conference sessions, workshops, villages, and networking opportunities covering today’s most important cybersecurity trends, threats, and tactics. Day Two shifts into action with a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, interactive villages, and skill-building activities designed for both experienced practitioners and newcomers alike.

The South Florida ISSA is currently seeking speakers, workshop leaders, village organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and chili cook-off participants. If you have expertise in offensive security, secure development, threat research, or cybersecurity leadership, this is an opportunity to share your knowledge and connect with the South Florida information security community.
