All across the world corporations and entrepreneurs are developing – and in many cases relaying upon – mobile app technology for users to experience their product.

This seems like a perfectly normal adaptation of a modern paradigm, except there seems to be a problem.

Steve Anderson and Josh Holtz, co-founders of Milwaukee-based software startup Snapifeye, encountered this issue with app-based event technology when they started developing the Snapifeye app in 2013.

“We learned that people are really reluctant to download new apps, especially if they will only use it temporarily,” Anderson said.

App-based event technology may yet make an appearance at ITPalooza, where we hope uptake will be brisk brisk.
