Join us for our January monthly meeting at FAU Tech Runway. The first of our monthly meetings for the year is a Signature event with a special focus on where the tech industry is at.
Host.net is partnering with FAU Tech Runway to present our 2015 opening event – Act Locally, Think Globally. This Signature event will look at the State of the Industry from a global to a local perspective.
The evening will open with a global technology perspective presented by Gartner Analyst Akshay Sharma.
At the state level, we will hear from Manny Mencia, Senior Vice President of International Trade & Business Development of Enterprise Florida who will share the exciting initiatives Florida is taking to expand trade and technology.
Next, our focus will shift to the regional level as we look at South Florida with representatives from the BDB in Palm Beach County, Greater Ft. Lauderdale Alliance, and the Beacon Council in Miami-Dade County.
Then we will present South Florida’s commitment to the global economy as the Technology Hub of the Americas – featuring Giraldo Gutierrez COO, eMerge Americas.
Finally, we will talk about Boca Raton’s investment in tech with the exciting opening of FAU’s Tech Runway and the plethora of exciting programs they offer – Kim Gramm will present the Tech Runway story.
