Our Palm Beach County based client is seeking an Applications Architect that will support their company's Internet-based applications. The architect will work closely with Project Managers designing applications, creating design documents, performing code reviews and be a leader to developers from an architecture perspective. The architect will guide strategic technology planning for the IT development team, as well as plan for new technology adoption.

Responsibilities:    

  • Architect and design applications ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.
  • Help define strategic technology planning for the development team and provide technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts and programmers
  • Perform complex programming, design and code reviews per established SDLC guidelines and established best practices.

Required Skills:

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Web development with at least 3-years of application architecture experience.
  • Experience in full stack, multi-tier Web development using various frameworks and Internet technologies, including C#, ASP .NET, MVC, Web Services and Angular.
  • Advanced SQL skills and relational database experience required.
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and business application knowledge.
  • Proficiency with the analysis, design, and development of Internet and e-commerce systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Proven ability to design and architect large, scalable business applications.
  • Able to work closely with stakeholders, programmers and business representatives.

Full-Stack .Net Angular Developer

Our client in Palm Beach County is seeking a Full-Stack .Net Developer to join their growing development team. Experience with AngularJS v1.5 is an absolutely must.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, create, maintain and troubleshoot Web applications in JavaScript, MVC and C#, .Net, utilizing AngularJS and SQL2008.
  • Focus is Web development and SQL development.
  • Multiple Applications.
  • Focused on new development with maintenance responsibilities as well.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of development experience
  • AngularJS (version 1.5) required, without it, candidates will not be considered
  • Experienced in C#. Net (Version 3.5 or higher).
  • Strong MVC 4
  • WebAPI programming, custom routing, security and utilizing JSON result sets.
  • JavaScript, AngularJS
  • SQL Server – strong programming knowledge on stored procedures including complex joins and data retrieval. 
  • Strong data mining and data analysis skills including data warehouse programming skills.  
  • Strong development experience with public facing websites, multi-tier development.
  • Entity Framework – strong knowledge of using Entity Framework in within Repository pattern.

Additional Plus Skills:           

  • Knowledge of website security best practices
  • Database reporting using Microsoft SQL Server Report control.
  • Git or Github.
  • CSS, HTML5, Less    
  • Software architecture experience
  • College degree preferred

Opportunity:  Senior Systems Engineer

Responsible for operational tasks intake across groups in the IT department, assisting the team’s project workload and systems maintenance activities. Engineer will be responsible for company systems and leading troubleshooting, fixing problems and escalating issues to the appropriate teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring software administration (maintenance, upgrades).
  • Provide auditing tools to ensure accurate monitoring of all devices, services, and processes.
  • Define and promote standards and best practices for monitoring and performance testing of products.
  • Primary role in designing and building solutions to improve operational awareness.
  • Research and oversee implementation of monitoring solutions for new technologies.
  • Be available for support of the availability tools on a rotational basis.

Required Skills:

  • B.S Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in Linux, Windows, Mac OS X
  • Experience architecting and developing monitoring and reporting solutions using such as Shell scripting, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Java, SNMP, and RRDtool.
  • Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP stack, HTTP, POP, IMAP, SMTP protocols
  • Strong knowledge of the Linux kernel
  • Experience in an Enterprise Java environment desirable
  • Experience in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud based technologies
  • Experience in managing SAN’s such as EMC and NetApp
