Role Overview:
We seek a Senior Data Scientist with experience in AI and ML to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will leverage vast data to develop models and algorithms to drive business solutions and enhance the company’s data-driven decision-making process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and extensive experience in data science, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Managing large and complex datasets, developing advanced analytics processes and programs, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Leading and developing machine learning models and algorithms to extract business insights and drive solutions.
- Developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to datasets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques.
- Maintaining and enhancing the business’s AI and ML solutions.
- Using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Creating processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Presenting findings and data insights to key stakeholders and providing recommendations for business improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and developments in data science and implementing new methodologies as needed.
- Mentoring other data scientists and data analysts, providing guidance and support in their career growth.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT)
- Strong knowledge of machine learning models, statistical modeling techniques, and data mining.
- Proficiency in database architectures and development languages like MS SQL, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
- Experience using data visualization tools and data frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and conceptually.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and experience with distributed data/computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- 5+ years of commercial experience
- Proven experience in working with a global team
- Wellness, Fitness, Cruise, Travel, or Hospitality industry experience preferred
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
