Role:               Technical Account Manager

Location:        New York City

Type:              Permanent

Seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be the contact point for customers for every need. This TAM will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of projects from beginning through deliverables to end.

 Responsibilities:

  • Customer advocate and collaborate internally with departmental teams including product management, customer support, engineering, sales and finance.
  • Plan and monitor solution implantation for new customers.
  • Be a conduit to client with customers from the point of sale and extending through onboarding, project success and renewals.
  • Develop and manage project scope and timelines, ensure that deliverables are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Manage customer relationship through ongoing communication and meetings.
  • Track and monitor customer status, identify areas of concern and pursue growth and upselling opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science or information technology
  • 4 years’ experience as a Technical Account Management or the like (including Gantt management, project management tools familiarity etc.) in a software company or cloud base solution. Big Data company experience is a plus
  • Experience in developing processes for increasing customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention
  • Experience in working with Enterprise customers
  • Ability to moderate travel.

Required Skills:

  • Expert in Microsoft SQL Sever Integration Services

Seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to become part of a team supporting customers in deployment , production and post-sales

Job Description:

  • Provide Tier 1-3 Support Service in a customer-facing role
  • Collaborate across departments
  • Work on both operational and infrastructure supporting both customers and internal teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Basic system and network maintenance.
  • Work independently capable of troubleshooting resolving complex technical issues, including escalations to R&D.
  • Document and create internal write-ups and guides for customers.

Requirements:

  • BS in computer science/ engineering field or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Customer Support role.
  • Experience supporting both onsite teams and remote deployed staff.
  • Experience in Linux administration: installing, networking, bootstrapping and security.
  • Proficient in application management for one or more of the following operating systems: Linux (a must), Windows, iOS or Android.
  • Experienced in customer Deployments and Implementation post-sales.
  • Excellent Client interaction / interfacing skills
  • Relevant Knowledge / proficiency in
    • Scripting experience in Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools and logging infrastructure; such as, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Graphite, etc
    • Networking theory, protocols and technologies
    • Background in SaaS solutions

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Linux web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST API
    • Java proficiency
    • NoSQL Databases experience like Cassandra

Integration Engineer

Our International Client is seeking an Integration Engineer (IE) based in New York City). The IE will be one of the first “focal points” for clients in the USA, and will go to client sites to help integrate the solution. Out client utilizes the Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model) with multiple (7) networking layers. IE will report to directly to COO and indirectly to their NYC based VP of Global Operations (based in NYC).

Candidate Background:

  • Client Facing Role experience
    • Pre-Sales experience would be a plus
  • Capable of Tier 4 level support
  • Telecom company background would be considered
  • Experience working at an international company is a plus
  • Must have good communications skills
  • Experience with APIs, SaaS is not a preferred consideration
  • Open to travel (this role will have 30% travel)

 

Position Requirements

  • Proven knowledge and experience in networking and full knowledge of the OSI model and deep understanding of 1-7 Network Layers.
  • Must have deep tech experience, not just knowledge switches and routers
  • Experience with Wireshark
  • Deep understanding and knowledge in VoIP and Streaming Technologies: SIP, RTSP, RTMP, Asterisk, Kamalio, SIP-to-PSTN gateways, SIP Trunk, Wowza, WebRTC.
  • Strong understanding of Windows systems and internals: batch scripting, services, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems and internals: batch scripting, system configuration etc.
  • Experience with configuring routers and firewalls.
  • Project management experience – Demonstrated experience in Change Management projects
  • Superior thought leadership
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to drive results effectively for multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
  • Must be an outstanding analytical thinker and problem solver, comfortable working in data analytics and able to resolve complex problems independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior leaders.
  • Must possess high motivation, enthusiasm and dedication to delivering results within strict timeframe
  • Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the United States.
