We are looking for a Senior UI (User Interface) Engineer, Someone  who cares deeply about building attractive customer-facing products. The ideal candidate will not only write clean, comprehensible front-end code but have experience building fast, intuitive products. You will have a lot of autonomy to control both the front-end infrastructure as well as product influence. 


  • You will work with extremely talented, humble, and nice people on the product engineering team and across the company
  • Collaborate with our design and product teams to come up with new products that solve real problems
  • You’ll have the chance to own development of new products end-to-end
  • You will construct and refine our front-end framework to ensure that our existing code stays high-quality, fast, and scales as we grow our engineering teams.

Desired Experience

  • Have between 8-10 years of experience building web applications
  • Have between 8-10 years of building a consumer-facing product that has a very high UI/UX bar
  • Have a strong knowledge of HTML/5, CSS/3, and JavaScript frameworks, Such as; NodeJS, RequireJS, Angular/Ember/React or similar JavaScript application framework
  • Less/Sass, Gulp/Grunt, Bower
  • Some awareness of ES6
  • Server side rest API such as ASP.Net, ExpressJS, RoR
  • D3 JS or similar data visualization libraries
  • Web Components
  • Care equally about code quality and product quality
  • Believe in simple code over clever code

Would be a plus

  • Experience in full-stack engineering is a plus!

The Developer Evangelist will be the face of company to the Developer community and will spearhead community engagement, growth through evangelism, and platform adoption.

Target markets include Marketing and Engineering functions for some of the largest apps in the world and the platform processes nearly one-third of the world’s smartphone traffic.


  • Be the Developer voice in relevant forums on topics of importance to the developer community
  • Engage the developer community in authentic and fun ways
  • Build and leverage strong champions throughout the developer community
  • Be the lead contributor and "editor in chief" to technical sections of the company’s blog/thought leadership – highlighting technical achievements and innovations of the company and its customers that developers can leverage

Cloud Systems Engineer (AWS)

SherlockTalent is looking for a talented AWS Systems Engineer who will be in charge of supporting application infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strict production SLAs of a custom distributed application running on AWS cloud infrastructure, monitoring, alerting, incident management, SOP, capacity planning, change management, security, and overall platform stability and improvement. 

The candidate must have a deep technical understanding of Linux operating systems, strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), advanced scripting skills, experience with variety of monitoring solutions, deep understanding of network communications and excellent troubleshooting skills.


  • The Ideal candidate will generate KPIs for service availability, uptime, and adherence to SOPs, and SLAs.
  • He/She will maintain, monitor, and improve the performance and availability of the 24×7 production environment including networks, servers, databases, etc.
  • They must be willing to participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on support during emergencies, outages, and service transitions.
  • Define and monitor compliance to production environment SLAs.
  • Participate in creating long-term and short term strategies for scaling the production environment.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, ECS, S3, etc.)
  • Strong experience with Linux server administration
  • At least basic Windows server administration skills
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Python) with the ability to develop ad hoc tools at scale.
  • Deep technical knowledge of several monitoring and analytics tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Sumologic, Datadog
  • Experience with Docker, Vagrant, Ansible, Chef, Puppet is a plus
  • Strong Experience with distributed web application architectures
  • Experience supporting NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Redis, Aerospike
  • Experience building/maintenance system monitoring and backup strategies
  • Experience maintaining a secure production environment
  • Experience with release/build/deployment management
  • Deep understanding of 24×7 production operations and SLA development
  • Over 5 + years’ of experience in 24×7 production operations
