MSP (Managed Services Provider) is looking for a Delivery Engineer to join their growing team of professionals.

Must have MSP experience to apply for this role. This is a great position for an MSP Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career.  

We are looking for someone actively working at an MSP/VAR/Reseller, supporting 50 to 200 different SMB accounts. Understands the type of team that needs to be in place to support all those different accounts, the tools that MSP’s use to be able to support that number of accounts, and the ability to keep all those different accounts/personalities happy with our service.

We are looking for that up-and-comer who is currently in the field and understands the demands. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create service organization framework and infrastructure to scale for future growth
  • Earn and maintain high-level of customer satisfaction to earn trusted advisor status within account base
  • Diligently mitigate business risk within the service department
  • Evaluate and recommend additional services to expand product offering
  • Create service team development plan and lead mentoring effort to ensure bench strength of talent within department
  • Assist in the evaluation of new technology for internal and external offerings that supports customers' needs
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases
  • Source, vet and present IT partner candidates to partners to have outsourced resources identified and ready to support projects as needed
  • Collaborate with company leaders and other department managers to define, design and deliver new services and products
  • Create and oversee the project plan to fully implement a successful IT offering
  • Create Services Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure clear understanding and satisfaction of solutions offered

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends to construct technology roadmaps
  • Knowledge of IT applications, processes and software
  • Knowledge of Exchange, Migrations, VMWare, Citrix

Junior Cyber Security Analyst

This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT person with a year or two of cyber security and NIST/FISMA experience to break into a great position and gain experience. Must have a good understanding and experience with information technology and a good understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and experience working in that realm.

Experience: 4 years general IT plus 2 years cyber security experience.

Apply the guidance provided in all relevant National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications in the delivery of IT security services:

  • Security Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and Analysis.
  • Perform near real-time monitoring of the network, to include all local area networks and connected Major Applications, using existing and future Government furnished security tools in order to detect evidence of an intrusion or misuse.
  • Perform incident response, as defined by FISMA, in support of all security incidents related to customer information or information systems.
  • Ensure timely and effective identification, isolation, containment, coordination, and documentation of security incidents in compliance with prevailing US-CERT and customer security policies and standards.
  • Participate in regular Incident response testing.
  • Provide support for the: 1) ongoing compliance with the U.S. Government Configuration Baseline (USGCB); 2) resolution of known vulnerabilities and areas of non-compliance; 3) upgrades to customer infrastructure; 4) changes to network architecture; 5) change management activities with the development/review of implementation plans, back out plans, and security impact analyses; and 6) security engineering services required for the implementation of new applications.
  • Evaluate, configure, implement, administer, maintain, and upgrade (as applicable) security tools with oversight provided by federal staff. This includes the testing, troubleshooting, and coordinated deployment of agent installations across the enterprise.
  • Provide a security analyst and/or engineering staff member to support the Advanced Security Operations Center (ASOC) team on an as needed basis.
  • Provide administrative service for support, maintenance and the development, configuration and deployment of enhancements to a Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM).
  • Develop, document, and implement a continuous monitoring program for the customer information systems and obtain approval of the continuous monitoring strategy by all applicable stakeholders. CSAM is the web-based enterprise-wide application that maintains details and artifacts related to IT Security boundaries.
  • Provide Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support services for the customer information systems developed or maintained hereunder prior to going into production. Subsequent to the initial authorization to operate, information systems follow the ongoing authorization process and associated continuous monitoring requirements as prescribed by OMB and NIST.
  • Assess the effectiveness of a subset of implemented controls on an ongoing basis to inform the AO’s decisions regarding the continued use and operation of the system. A&A documents will be maintained in the Cyber Security Assessment and Management solution (CSAM) or as instructed by the government oversight lead.
  • Perform annual security control assessments in accordance with the Continuous Monitoring Plan:

Seeking a Linux/PKE Engineer to support a large Identity and Access Management (IdAM) contract. The candidate will have experience with Linux and technical troubleshooting supporting an operations team. The operations team is responsible for supporting break-fix, sustainment, continuous monitoring, and PKI enablement functions. The candidate should have a general understanding of PKI/PKE.

This position requires off hours/on call support for one week every two to three months.

Principal Integration Engineer

Seeking a Systems Software Integration Engineer to support a large Identity and Access Management (IdAM) contract. The Integration Engineer is responsible for technical definition, implementation, and integration of enterprise Identity and Access Management services. These services provide authentication and authorization capabilities to users and applications throughout the enterprise. The service capabilities include coarse grained gateways, token issuance/verification, and policy evaluation. The developed services are a mix of 3rd party software products, customizations, and custom developed code which must run in as a highly available system. This position will have a special focus on operations and maintenance of existing Certificate Authorities (CA) and associated custom middle applications.

General Responsibilities Include

  • Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders to identify and define requirements
  • Design, integrate, document and maintain CA and PKI services based on 3rd party software products using Agile development approaches and methodologies
  • Provide support to the deployment and operations of CA and PKI capabilities and services
  • Support and mentor junior team members
