Responsibilities

  • Ability to build software pipelines with Docker, npm, Java, Pypithe, etc. with various DevOps tools
  • Hands-on experience in Linux – Mandatory
  • Experience with software development in scale, both on-premise and in the cloud
  • Experience with Software Architecture design and product development a plus
  • Customer-facing experience
  • 3 years’ experience in sales/solutions engineering, technical consulting, or system integration project management for enterprise accounts is an advantage

Systems Engineer

Leading communications software provider with over 1,200 employees worldwide, is seeking a Systems Engineer to be responsible for operational tasks intake from other Technology and Business groups, assisting the team’s project workload, and systems maintenance activities. 
The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for IMI’s systems and leading troubleshooting, fixing problems and escalating issues to the appropriate teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research, architecture and systems implementation and monitoring for new technologies
  • Assist with planning and executing hardware and software refresh and maintenance where necessary
  • Assist with designing and building solutions to improve IMI’s operational awareness
  • Create, update and organize technical documentation & knowledge base
  • Be available for support of highly available systems on a rotational basis
  • Act as technical escalation points for NOC, HelpDesk, and Systems Team
  • Monitor ticket queues for change control, incidents, and requests
  • Progress work daily via ticketing system queues
  • Architect and develop tools & processes to ensure accurate active monitoring and correlation of historical performance and alert data of all devices, services, and processes
  • Define and evangelize standards and best practices for monitoring and performance testing of IMI’s products

Experience and Skills:

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in Linux
  • Knowledge of containers including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments pipelines
  • Ability to implement DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
  • Able to provide simple and elegant solutions to problems ranging from data collection, aggregation, and display, to improving performance of highly scalable products
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP stack, HTTP, POP, IMAP, SMTP protocols, applications such as apache/nginx web servers and proxies and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark
  • Good knowledge of the Linux kernel
  • Experience with monitoring tools Icinga / Nagios and Sensu is an asset and the ability to architect and develop monitoring and reporting solutions with tools such as Shell scripting, Python, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Java, Nagios, SNMP

Senior Accountant

Leading communications software provider with over 1,200 employees worldwide, is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide financial and operational support and is responsible for managing all Accounts Payable functions, implementing and adhering to internal cost controls and managing all vendor & supplier financial relationships. 
The Senior Accountant is also responsible for various monthly financial closing tasks and preparing and presenting cost analyses as needed. 
Other duties may include supporting the external audit function and periodically assisting with the monthly customer invoicing process. 
The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and is required to work independently and cross-functionally with the key stakeholders of the business. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all U.S. Accounts Payable functions including Procurement (Purchase Orders), Invoice Approvals, General Ledger Data Entry, Check Runs and Electronic Payments
  • Maintain clear and accurate accounting records including various Balance Sheet Reconciliations (prepaid assets, accrued expenses, fixed assets, etc.)
  • Prepare and record Payroll related Journal Entries (salary, bonus and commissions)
  • Implement Contract Management Software and manage key Vendor/Supplier Contract terms and renewals
  • Oversee the Company’s corporate expense policy and related systems
  • Implement and adhere to Internal Cost Controls and Operational Process Improvements to reduce business costs
  • Prepare and present recurring Cost Reports, Analyses and Dashboards (budget to actual, month to month, etc.)
  • Manage Form 1099 and W9 Compliance
  • Complete various month-end closing tasks and adhere to expedited closing schedules
  • Assist with the monthly customer invoicing process as needed
  • Support External Audit and Tax Compliance Engagements where necessary

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience; prior Public Accounting experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or finance
  • Thorough knowledge of financial accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS)
  • ERP or General Ledger experience; Netsuite and Quickbooks preferred
  • Extensive analytical, reporting and project/process management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
  • Superior oral and written business communications skills
  • Experience in mobile, software or transactional businesses a plus
