C# SQL Software Programmer

Great opportunity for a year contract in Miami Dade. We are looking for a C# / SQL progeammer that will be in charge of updating/modifying existing custom software used to conduct inventory audits with barcode scanners running Windows Mobile OS. Scanned barcodes and data are updated across an enterprise-level wireless network to a remote Microsoft SQL database in real-time. Multiple scanners will be in use simultaneously from different physical locations. You will also be generating/modifying various customized reports using Crystal Reports and modifying/creating SQL tables and queries as necessary. 


  • Update/modify customized desktop management software component to improve user interface, functionality, features, and reporting
  • Update/modify customized barcode scanner software to improve user interface, features, and functionality
  • Update/modify SQL tables/server as necessary
  • Test and ensure full functionality of systems

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience with designing / programming of customized applications in Visual C# running on Microsoft’s .Net framework and report generation using Crystal Reports
  • 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft SQL server
  • 5+ years of experience programing barcode scanners running Windows Mobile (example: Motorola Symbol MC9060, Intermec CK3)

Additional Skills:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred
