SherlockTalent is actively looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst III in Miramar, FL. Candidate will operate within the Information Technology Security team, with primary emphasis on architectural design, implementation of cost-effective security controls in alignment with regulatory compliance.
Requirements: 
  • Performing Risk Assessments and presenting Recommendations for Mitigations
  • Writing Security Policies and Procedures
  • Powershell Scripting
Working Knowledge of: 
  • Tenable Security Center
  • IBM- Q-Radar
  • Citrix Netscalers (SSL, VPN, and Web Application Firewall configuration)
Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes events from privacy and security monitoring systems, identifying potential threats, risks or breaches and provide solutions to prevent recurrences
  • Implements all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information and assets from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
  • Supports implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
  • Identifies and analyzes cybersecurity risks to the organization and works with system and application owners to resolve those risks.
  • Proposes, designs and implements cybersecurity technical or administrative controls that mitigate risk to the organization.
  • Improves the organization’s cybersecurity posture by developing and implementing security standards and procedures.
  • Determines root cause of potential security events or incidents, prioritizes and responds in a timely fashion.
  • Mentors and trains staff to ensure cyber skill sets are being developed by all personnel; provides guidance and support to other members of the IT Security team.
  • Ensures business and technical requirements are aligned with security policies and standard practices and implemented within regulatory and corporate compliance.
