Speaker: Jakob Grimm, IAM Practice Director at www.Optiv.com

Title: The Spider’s Web: Navigating the World of Identity

Speaker’s Bio: Jakob Grimm brings over 15 years’ experience in Information Security and over a decade in Identity and Access Management (IAM) space to his role as Practice Director, Identity Governance & Administration for Optiv – the largest comprehensive pure-play IT security provider in the country [ www.linkedin.com/company/optiv-inc/ ]. In this role, Grimm is responsible for developing and leading a team of skilled individuals in the delivery of IGA solutions to clients [ www.optiv.com/explore-optiv-insights/videos/iga-any-enterprise-good-bad-and-ugly ]. Prior to joining Optiv in 2016, Grimm led the IAM and Operations practice for Alliance Data, a $6 Billion-dollar finance services company providing customer loyalty programs for Fortune 500 retailers (such as Victoria Secret, Pottery Barn, and Toyota). He was responsible for the planning, building, and running of a customer-facing data analytics solution allowing B2B and C2B authentication and authorization of millions of card members via mobile applications. Grimm’s prior experience spans industry verticals including leading IAM programs at both Owens Corning, the world leader in glass and fiber products, and Mercy Health, along with time spent in roles at both Microsoft and SSO leader Imprivata. Grimm also serves as a thought leader on IAM, having led webinars, presented at industry conferences, and published thoughts on the future of IAM.

Title: Making Sense of Splunk Enterprise

Abstract: Splunk can feel overwhelming at times; and with many moving parts, it can prove difficult to understand how this powerful tool can fit into the enterprise. We will cover what Splunk Enterprise is, who uses Splunk in their organizations, what value it can provide, and finally show how you too can benefit from this Data-to-Everything platform.

Speaker’s Bio: Jonathan Singer has over 14 years of experience as an information technology professional. He is currently the Southeast Region Splunk Practice Lead at GuidePoint Security LLC. Prior to joining GuidePoint, Jonathan worked at a Central Florida ISP specializing in web application security, policy and compliance, and RedHat Linux system administration & hardening. Jonathan participates in many speaking engagements throughout the East Coast. He is a Certified Splunk Architect. He holds a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of South Florida.
