Responsible for the core activities associated with the development, operation, and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure including support for all infrastructure-related systems, including all Server, Network, Telecommunication, and client devices. This includes the implementation of new systems and upgrading of existing systems, project management, help desk ticket and problem ticket work/escalations, and enterprise-level security work. Must be able to keep up to date with IT advancements, and emerging technologies and possess the ability to articulate the value of technology to the business.

Responsibilities

Successfully manage and execute business and project plans, deliverables, policies, processes, and procedures

  • Install, and maintain network systems, hardware, software, and peripherals across the enterprise as required
  • Provide project-specific technical support to and management of vendors/suppliers/teammates
  • Prepare recommendation(s) and provide project management for the successful implementation of relevant technology, business process modifications and/or enhancements
  • Maintain Data Center/Azure Operations by monitoring, measuring, and optimizing the performance of all network hardware, storage, software, telephony, cabling, and data communications connections ensuring maximum uptime
  • Perform network and system administration tasks as assigned
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose research, and resolve technical problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner, recognizing the proper course of action to take, communicating and escalating severe issues as appropriate
  • Respond to help desk tickets, telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support ensuring timely feedback and closure
  • Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Develop and maintain network security, data integrity, and file system security processes and procedures
  • Perform knowledge transfers among team members by preparing and maintaining documentation for networks, systems, processes, procedures, written instructions, and solutions to problems
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and recommend process, network, system, hardware, and software improvements and/or upgrades
  • Maintain knowledge of developments in relevant technologies and their use in the industry, making recommendations when appropriate
  • Manage incoming and outgoing asset inventory of hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Prepare computer systems for deployment including interviewing clients to identify special considerations and other settings
  • Install computer hardware, software, and peripherals as required
  • May be required to travel outside the State of Florida and the USA
  • Position may require rotation between facilities/offices in local market as needed and may be required to travel internationally
  • Available to work after hours and weekends as required

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Citrix Cloud/ NetScaler/ VDI administrative expertise
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems and virtualization tools such as VMWare and Microsoft HyperV as well as desktop software such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and desktop software such as the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are vital, should be as comfortable with people as with systems and technology
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team as well as independently, collaboration skills are vital

Education and Experience

  • Ideal qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field
  • MCSE certification or equivalent certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with PC hardware and software support, including troubleshooting, repair, and deployment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a large technical environment supporting LANs, WANs, telephony, security, and related technologies

Travel

Occasional travel – domestically and internationally
