The VP of Marketing leads all marketing programs and team members to optimize our client’s sales opportunities in a cost effective manner. This VP reports directly to the CEO and will develop exceptional strategies, create breakthrough programs, and execute the campaigns to achieve goals. The VP of Marketing will impact the marketing programs and our client’s visibility on all the College campuses where the company operates. This person must be a self starter, dedicated to company growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops marketing company-wide strategy for adding customer memberships and improving sales
  • Recruits, trains, and manages team of Campus Marketing Managers and provides them with the tools to develop campus centric strategies and execute programs
  • Oversees outsourced agencies to optimize productivity within budget. Vendors may include agencies that focus on creative, digital, print, SEM/SEO, events, direct mail and other
  • Creates programs that encourage students to download and register for the app, parents to participate in their children’s app use, activation of accounts, and improvement in sales
  • Develops brand guidelines and ensures that vendors and team members adhere to principles.
  • Executes programs flawlessly to achieve campaign and company goals
  • Uses activation and loyalty strategies to minimize churn
  • Operates within budget and rationalizes spend decisions
  • Uses data to create reports and provides analysis to executive team on how programs performed and how to incorporate learnings into new programs
  • Continuously integrates tests into programs in order to practice continuous improvement
  • Incorporates surveys and the voice of the customer into programs
  • Stays on top of latest tech trends proactively to implement new technology into programs
  • Facilitates strong relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 Years of Progressive Marketing Experience
  • BS in Business, MBA from top school preferred
