I am fortunate to be working with organizations that produce great events and also support great causes.
Two of these events are on the horizon.
First is the CIO Golf Outing, Friday, September 20, at the Jacaranda Golf Course. The CIO Council has an active Advocacy committee focused on awarding scholarships to high-school students in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. To date, they have awarded more than 30 scholarships to deserving students. [Register]
A little further out, but here-before-you-know-it is ITPalooza, Thursday, December 5, at the Fort Lauderdale Convention center. ITPalooza will be continuing its support for the Marine Toys For Tots toy drive and other local charities. Over the years the organization has donated over $300,000 in toys and cash to local charities. [Register]
