In Loving Memory of Bill Reiss

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Reiss, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Bill departed on August 6, 2024, just days shy of his 55th birthday.

Born and raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey, Bill graduated from Cedar Ridge High School, class of 1987. He further pursued his passion for technology attending the Stevens Institute of Technology and the University of South Florida for Computer Science. Known for his unwavering dedication, Bill was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone struggling with a technological challenge, demonstrating his aptitude for finding innovative solutions. He resided in the Tampa area for over three decades, with his most recent homes being in Lutz and Land O’ Lakes.

Bill’s professional journey spanned over thirty years in technology development. Throughout his career, he garnered recognition for his expertise in mobile platforms and application development, most recently as a Premier Developer for Microsoft.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bill had a zest for life. He found joy in exploring new destinations, casting his fishing line into serene waters, and savoring the art of cooking, where he excelled as a chef. Whether it was a family gathering or a gathering of friends, Bill’s culinary talents brought smiles and satisfied appetites. An avid supporter of Tampa Bay sports teams, he cheered for the Devil Rays, Buccaneers, and Lightning with unwavering loyalty.

Bill was a proud father to his daughter Samantha, who recently graduated from medical school. Bill leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on through his daughter, sister, brother, mother, nieces, and nephew.

The loss of Bill Reiss leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever be etched in our minds. We will cherish the moments we shared with him, the laughter he brought, and the unconditional love he bestowed upon us. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of his loved ones who have gone before him.

Rest in peace, dear Bill. You will be deeply missed.
