A developer to be a member of a team responsible for the testing of the software system which manages clinical laboratory instruments and the laboratory workflow involving those instruments. The individual will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements, developing test designs, automating testing of the software system, developing test procedures for manual execution as well as developing tools in support of testing the software system.
The candidate should have the following skills:
Experienced in testing software systems, preferably related to medical instrumentation.
Experienced in testing HL7 interfaces, preferably interfacing to medical instrumentation.
Able to evaluate system specifications and requirements for completeness and testability.
Able to generate test designs and procedures from specifications and use cases.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Experience in development and testing of hematology instrumentation is desirable.
Automated software testing experience for medical instrumentation is desired, preferably using Test Complete.
Experience with FDA or other Regulated Software Development Process.
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other relevant baccalaureate degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree(s) and 4 years of relevant experience, or PhD and 2 years of relevant experience or 10 years of relevant experience.
This resource will be part of the automation testing team, which is developing a suite of automation tests that will help increase the software quality by ensuring software robustness
All work must be done onsite in company's Miami HQ's.
