Our client is looking for a savvy pricing specialist–with a clear understanding of pricing concepts. You must be able to analyze the market as well as qualify and quantify pricing strategy. You will support the client’s retail marketing business by providing analytical and transaction support. This shall include working with their CRM for market research and analysis, pricing analysis, development and coordination & transaction analysis and coordination.. The Pricing/Business Analyst will interact with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support the pricing process. This role is responsible for gathering validating and standardizing pricing data, processing pricing requests (inputs/outputs). You willl be able to understand complex modeling and will be required to defend developed prices. This role will participate in the implementation of structured products and taking them to market.

•Conduct daily updating of pricing models from various data feeds
•Create complex pricing models including model verification
•Release utility documents and invoices with the objective of converting the research to actionable pricing models decisions
•Participate in the roll out of new structured products with various departments to ensure they are efficiently launched and accurately recorded


•BS in Engineering or Business or a related Business Degree
•Three years experience in one or several of these areas : Fundamentals of wholesale power markets including NYISO, PJM, NEEPOOL, MISO., Product valuations, financial analysis, risk analysis and other measures related to portfolio management and hedging strategies, Wholesale products associated with ISO environment including energy, capacity, ancillary services, renewable energy or other products available in a given market
•Strong analytical skills including financial and statistical analysis
•Ability to coordinate processes/procedures effectively across various departments of the organization
•Strong written and verbal communications skills.
•Computer skills: MS Office, Excel, SQL, MS Access

All work MUST be performed onsite in Miami area. Looking for someone can price large wholesale commodities–with a logical process. This is a mid-level position with the opportunity of growth potential.
