The ERP Project Manager will define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. He or she will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.  The ERP project manager is also a critical member of the core training team, which is formed by the enterprise IT team along with ERP vendor trainers and professionals.


• Lead the Planning and implementation of major projects.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
• Create project evaluations and assessment of results
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Exceptional leadership skills including strong written and oral communication across all levels of audiences across IT and business units
• Creation and leadership of weekly executive level steering committee meetings
• Interaction with the IT program management office to align with system development methodology and standard status reporting requirements


• Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major and PMP certification
• 5-7 years experience in ERP Program Management
• Program manager with experience leading multi-million dollar ERP business transformation effort spanning concurrent projects across multiple business units, commercial off the shelf software products, software vendors, system integrators, and software development teams.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• High degree of adaptability and stress tolerance required.
• Ability to interface with disparate business units a must.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Candidate must have experience defining and successfully executing a program structure including governance, operating model, staffing, deliverables, status reporting structure, and all traditional project management deliverables.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a prompt and efficient manner.

• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
