Our Ft. Lauderdale based client is looking for a Business Intelligence Administrator/Developer for a Temp to Perm position.

Role Purpose:

Designs, develops and maintains reporting database systems based on Microsoft SQL Server, BI/OLAP, SSIS and Power Pivot technologies. Candidate will coordinate with the Head of Business Intelligence and the BI Team to help design solutions to fit their business needs. The BI Administrator will also provide Tier-2/3 support to the company BI team, as well as other business units, that rely on the BI System.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge working with network operating systems (Microsoft Windows & UNIX)

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence Administration/Development

• 5+ years of experience and skill with Structured Query Language (SQL)

• 3+ years of experience in designing/developing OLAP databases & reporting solutions

• 2+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration

• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills

• Ability to work independent of direct supervision

• Ability to work extended hours as needed

• Ability to travel internationally periodically for projects –Valid US Passport

Principle Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server OLAP databases

• Develop and maintain interfaces using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Develop and maintain multi-dimensional OLAP databases within Microsoft SQL Server

• Work with business end-users and management to come up with proper database design based on reporting requirements

• Provides Tier-1/2/3 support to Business Intelligence organization and other business end-users

• Maintains legacy systems based on Hyperion Essbase, Tableau & Microsoft Access

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves database/reporting problems and coordinates with external support from vendors and company Group IS resources when necessary

• Microsoft SQL Server Administration

• Maintains technical & training documentation on established reporting systems and database schemas

• TCP/IP, STP & Ethernet (strong knowledge & troubleshooting skills)

• Performs installation of approved reporting software to business users if needed


Bachelor*s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 8+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
