Our client, a leading national chain, is looking for a .Net Systems Analyst to be involved in the entire life-cycle development of projects from planning and analysis through implementation and support. They work with the Manager of Technology Solutions to ensure that architecture and design of systems are sound.
You will also function as the Technical Lead for some projects. Will be responsible for managing code base to ensure a consistent implementation.
.Net development, 5+ years (C#/VB.NET/ASP.NET/ADO.NET)
Relational Database Management (preferably Microsoft SQL Server), 3+ years
Business analysis, 4+ years
Strong object oriented design and development experience
Exposure to the following are a plus:
SharePoint Portal Server
Work with the Manager of Technology Solutions to evaluate different technologies and review any architectural designs
Gather requirements from the business segments as required.
Work on Use Cases, Robustness Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams as required.
Responsible for mentoring team members and consultants on the technical aspects of our architecture.
Work with the Manager of Technology Solutions to ensure that code guidelines and architectural design are maintained by other team members.
Assist in solving issues with existing systems as needed.
Coordinate with internal business departments on their information systems needs; coordinate with external departments when necessary (Distributors, and Suppliers).
Keep current with relevant technologies including but not limited to Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Reporting Services, LINQ, WCF, WWF, SharePoint Portal Server, etc.).
Solid experience with architecture design and enhancements in enterprise class multi-layered web application.
Extensive experience designing, developing and supporting distributed enterprise web application.
Advanced knowledge of object oriented principals, designing patterns and enterprise systems.
Strong knowledge of web application security and securing the complete solution.
Strong MS SQL Server programming skills required.
Working knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5 or 4.0 (WCF, WF, WPF) a plus
Strong skills in MVP/MVC patterns, Microsoft latest Enterprise Libraries and Application blocks.
Must be self motivated – self-starter
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with demonstrated teamwork, time management and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills required.
Experience working with AJAX patterns and other third-party libraries (Telerik) strongly desired.
Strong analytical skills
A four-year degree is required, preferably in Computer Science or Business Administration.
