We are planning on having two talks. First talk will be a continuing of last month’s beginner’s talk on themes and plugins. So hard to fit so much information into a short period of time, but we are giving it a shot. 🙂
We also want to see 1 or 2 people share what they are doing w/ WordPress. Kind of a “show and tell” – don’t have to show anything polished. I might have a small “thank you” gift for those who want to talk for 5-10 minutes. Ping me at miami@wordcamp.org if you want to show off your latest (or not so recent) project.
Talk #1: “WordPress Themes 101 (Part 2)”
It will be IMPOSSIBLE to cover EVERYTHING, but we hope to cover the basics and answer as many questions as possible. Talk #2: “Intro to Child Themes”
In this short talk, we’ll explain what a child theme is and when it might be appropriate to use one in your project.
