The Miami Tech Summit and Holiday Bash aims to reach a young professional and business executive audience to spread the desire for all-things-tech in a pre-holiday showcase from premier brands in the consumer electronics industry as well as local tech start-ups, and the Miami business community.
HISTORY
In November 2012, the inaugural Tech Bash was held to celebrate the launch of Windows 8 and the new OEM computer lines with an interactive, food and drink fueled party.
In May 2013, a “Tech Summit” was held in conjunction with a traditional training symposium, showcasing 50 vendors in a tradeshow format with over 1,500 business and consumer attendees. Light fare and cocktails plus various activities in tow.
With the great reception each of these formats delivered, with customer desire for more such tech events in South Florida, combined with the ever-changing face of computing, we determined that a combination of the two could provide a great event in which to showcase the latest in technology in an interactive experience, while allowing for integration of music, art and other technology related displays.
