StartupPOP: 13th Start-Up Elevator Pitch GRAND PRIX – Discount Codes

Welcome back to The Greenhouse on Federal Highway in Boca Raton!

This event will be $15 for regular attendees till January 15th.  After Jan 15 it will be $25.  Finally it will be $35 at the door.   Please check below for additional VIP pricing.

Our last pitch event was extremely well attended!  We had over 100 attendees!

If you have attended this event before, we have added a new twist this time, we are calling StartupPOP Grand Prix.  StartupPOP GrandPrix is a new kind of competition among the pitching startups.  There WILL be a winner and a small pot of cash that comes from 5% of attendee payments.  (estimated between $35 and $100). You, as an attendee, will participate along with startups in the voting. You can only vote one time per startup, so no filling the ballot box! Obviously having a friend or couz with you helps! WHAT: The Boca Raton Tech Start-Ups Meetup is running our 13th Tech Start-Up Pitch Night & Networking. Our intention is to assist local tech start-ups to pitch their tech product or service. A tech start-up can be looking for a variety of things like seed capital, tech partners, business partners, advisers, mentors or business leads. Attendees are welcome to stay and network afterwords!

HOW MUCH:  We have a new pricing model!

$15  – Early Bird Attendee Before Jan 15, 2016 [So you need to signup today]

$50 – VIP “Service Provider”.  If you are a marketer, web agency, lawyer, financial adviser, accountant or other service provider this is a great deal at a reasonable price.  VIPs get their services mentioned at the beginning of the event!  We will list you on StartupPOP.com as a service provider in our service provider directory.  This is a GREAT VALUE!
$0 – FREE for Student/Volunteers – This is for college and high school students as well as volunteers helping at the event.  This is the honor system, so we know who signs up for this.
$0 – FREE For Pitching Company Members.  Pitching companies need to email dan@startuppop.com to apply to pitch.

SPONSORS: If you are a SERVICE BUSINESS like a LAW FIRM, ACCOUNTING, a WEB AGENCY, an INSURANCE PROVIDER, BROKER/DEALER or just LOVE THIS EVENT and want to support it, you can buy small to large SPONSORSHIPS from $200 to $600 for this event. The lowest end sponsorship for $200 will get your business listed on our powerpoint presentation and on our handouts at the door. THE FORMAT: Between 5 and 10 local tech start-ups will be given up to 3 minutes (no pitch deck) to pitch their concept or product/service. There is networking before and after the event. Pitching companies can provide a short, no more than 3 pages of power point, which we will display on a screen. There will be a panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors who will be at the event. This panel will have a few moments to ask a few questions following each pitch.

PITCH DECK REQUIREMENT: We are requiring participants fill out up a 1 to 4 page pitch deck. This pitch deck will be used for both pitching and for interested investors. This is required!  Our limit is 4 pages! Remember this is a 3 minute pitch. You can go to this link here to review an example pitch deck.

The start-up companies pitching have up to 3 minutes to answer 5 common questions about their business:

What is their product/service?
What is their business model?
Size of the Market they serve?
How do they get to market or get traction?
What are they here looking for? Capital, Partners, Advisers, etc..

Potential Advisers, Mentors and Audience members will be asked to approach start-ups of interest after the event. We will list the companies which will pitch as we approach the pitch date.
