I’m proud to be a South Florida Leaders of Impact Nominee.
I’m excited to be nominated for the American Heart Association’s Leaders of Impact campaign this year. As part of this year’s class of changemakers, I’m dedicated to making a lasting impact on the health of our community and hope that I can count on your support!
Will you join me in supporting this important movement?
Participating in the national Leaders of Impact (LoI) campaign is truly an honor. Following my Sudden Cardiac Arrest on March 6th, 2022, I committed to making a difference in one person’s life each and every day. My involvement in LoI will give me the opportunity to raise awareness of heart health, CPR, and ubiquitous AED placement, as well as support research and development to prevent and treat heart disease.
The American Heart Association is committed to advancing health equity – which can exist only when all people can have the opportunity to enjoy healthier lives. We’re removing barriers to health through work in communities, scientific research, advocating for healthy policies, and more.
Through this 7-week competition, I am joining other local leaders to support the American Heart Association’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
The nominee leader, who makes the greatest impact and raises the most funds locally, will be named the South Florida Leaders of Impact winner. The nominee who raises the most funds nationwide will be named the American Heart Association 2023 National Leaders of Impact Winner.
That’s why I am excited to step up alongside the AHA and be a part of this year’s Leaders of Impact campaign. I have formed a team and we are focused on reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke in our community. Our team also has a goal to fundraise $50,000 together before November 15th!
