About the SFDA:
The South Florida Digital Alliance transforms the community through the promotion of digital literacy while facilitating public access to computers, the internet, and technology-focused educational opportunities. Founded in 2009, the SFDA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
As to the progress of our efforts, since the inception of our Reboot Initiative, the SFDA has refurbished and placed over 2400 computers back into the community in addition to working with municipal and county partners to establish 20 computer labs at public parks throughout Miami-Dade & Broward counties. In 2017, the SFDA has provided over 400 computers to various nonprofits, local schools and students, foster families, and to various community-based facilities.
