The SFDA’s Digital Advancement & Excellence Awards event is designed to recognize those individuals, entities and institutions in South Florida who have made a positive impact on our community by using technology that increases access to information, reduces of the cost technology or increases connectivity among members of our community. The South Florida Digital Alliance’s annual DAE banquet is South Florida’s premier technology event. The Digital Advancement & Excellence Awards banquet recognizes the innovative use of broadband and computing technologies to increase the community’s access to computing, the Internet, as well as the online tools and resources of the digital economy. The South Florida Digital Alliance – SFDA invites nominations for extraordinary individuals, corporations and foundations.

DAVID H. SALMON, is an attorney and serial entrepreneur dedicated to helping his clients grow their businesses. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business where he earned his bachelors of science in finance with a focus on entrepreneurial development. David earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law.
David has a broad professional background spanning from consulting, to financial advising, to web-development and teaching entrepreneurship. His legal background includes complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, tort defense, real estate litigation, first and third party property disputes, insurance defense, and shareholder litigation. David also provides civil mediation services. With his background and broad professional network David is able to provide his clients with unique legal prospective and flexible solutions.
David is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and growing South Florida’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He works closely with his clients and believes in investing in their success. David is also a venture coach and former fellow at The University of Miami’s Launchpad.

TechTailgate @theDolphins, November 13th, 2014 was a sequel to the highly successful TechWeekend @theDolphins. Tailgate at Sun Life Stadium before the game between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. Food included wings, sandwiches, vegetable platter, chicken strips, cake and more.

We received over 90 submissions from talented speakers with great topics. In the end we were forced to choose based on the availability of classrooms at the venue.
