Our Miami based client is looking for a SQL Server Production DBA
Must-Have:
- Excellent technical judgment based on at least 5 years of continuous and intensive hands-on DBA experience with SQL Server 2008 thru 2012
- Extensive working knowledge of operational/production DB support tasks including backup/recovery, user rights provisioning, index re-orgs, process monitoring, etc
- Expertise troubleshooting performance issues at the server, DB, and SQL/query level
- Strong personal initiative and advanced problem analysis skills.
- Positive customer service skills complimented by an elevated sense of accountability and urgency.
- Structured work philosophy founded on strict adherence to corporate direction and change management policy as well as a genuine appreciation for data security.
- 100% compliance with US laws and regulations governing data privacy.
- Working knowledge of Red Gate and Idera tools (back-up, compare)
- Expertise building and administering SQL Server clusters.
- Well versed with SQL Server transactional replication
- Familiarity with Oracle and SSIS is a major plus.
This is a permanent full-time position with all work to be done onsite.
